Carol's Story
Hi Everyone! Hoping all have a very Happy New Year! I sent a picture to the 45th reunion but cannot post on this personal site yet. Thankful to see names and pictures of friends from HS and hope that we can all get together again at another reunion.
After HS graduation: I graduated from Stephens College AA then Univ. of Arkansas BA;married moved to Calif taught modeling and taught 5th grade in a Cath. Sch and was a substitute in Public Sch.Such turbulent times,moved to San Francisco,divorced and worked at a recording studio.I met my current husband (of 35yrs) who was younger and a great guitarist.We were in top 40 bands for the next ten yrs (traveling solid on the road US &Canada three yrs) and playing in and around SF. usiness ten times in nine yrs living all over the US. We were in Calif Kansas, Colo and Texas Dallas for 16yrs. During this time I taught either private kindergaten or Pre K. our last trasfer was to Charlotte,NC . We have been here five yrs and love it. Our daughter now 29 is in Scotland earning her Masters in Theater after six yrs in NY . She has her BFA in Theater from Texas Tech. I am almost a six yr survivor of Breast Cancer ,sing in the choir , enjoy our Chocolate Lab,travel,(usually my husband Bob and I go to see our daughter perform and took her to Glasgow in Sept for our 35th Anniversary),charity work and politics. Feel so thankful to still be here and to see all of your names still alive and well and such achievers.Wow! Oour class can be vrey proud!Sad about the many in our class who we have lost.
