Carol's Story
Life
I retired at 58. I have 2 living children, 11 step-children, 11 foster children, 28 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren.. Spent working life exporting, put a patent on the market, wrote a couple of books, showed collies, do volunteer grief counseling for parents of murdered adult children. I lost my oldest son in 1995 to murder. I enjoy life-have visited all 50 states. Moved back to Kansas, losing my eyesight, married 20 years to a great man.
School

College
I attended school at night after being left with all the children to raise. I majored in Transportation Logistics with a minor in Accounting and English. After retirement, took Christian Counseling classes to help people of murdered adult children.
Workplace
Most of my working life was as an exporter/importer. Bringing items into the country as parts for finished products leaving the country, making proposals, and shipping items to end customers. I had a patent for a fishing pole holder which I put on the market, wrote 2 books and working on a third. Retired at 58.
