Carol's Story

I got married to Justin DeBoer the week after I graduated from OSU in 1969. I taught school for three years and "retired" to stay home and be a mom for over 12 years. I now have been back in teaching in Lake Oswego for 25 years. We lived in LO for 30+ years and now have moved to West Linn. We have a daughter and a son who have both married. Our daughter and son-in-law have two wonderful girls that we are blessed to see regularly. ...Expand for more
All of our family lives near us. My husband was diagnosed with MS in 1985. We are thankful for his lack of progression with the disease and are able to travel and do things with our family often. He is real busy taking care of our house, the kids, church singing groups and going on Miata rides whenever it's top-down weather! After all these years, I still am thrilled to hear about school friends....and Beach School kids especially!
