After high school, I married, moved toTexas, became a Hairdresser. Had a beautiful baby girl, I named her after Miss Heitz, my favorite teacher. Her name is Joan Teresa. Worked a few years in Texas ..Loved Texas, but got divorced and after a few years, I joined the Army. I had wonderful career in the Army as a Nutritionist. I wouldn't trade it for anything.. I traveled to Belgium, and Hawaii on assignment with some other great places thrown in. Like Australia. I loved it!! I've been in every state but Alaska, thanks to my job with the recruiting command. I hope to go there someday. My first assignment was Ft Knox, Ky. before I started travelling for 3 years throughout the country with the Recruiting Command. Went on to Hospital Food Service. Spent Most of my time in the South., Georgia/South Carolina. My last assignment was Nutrition Instructor at the Culinary Arts School in Ft Lee, Virginia.
