Carol's Story
Can't believe high was so long ago! What wonderful memories I have.
I have been fortunate since graduating from high school to be surrounded by kids. I have spent the years working with special needs students, raising my own children and now playing with my granddaughters. God is good and I am a blessed woman. I got married a few years out of high school to Chuck Dhyne (who I met through John Glassey) and have been married for 40 years. We moved to Absecon 35 years ago where our family remains. ve a son, Kyle, also married, has 1 little girl. teaches 2nd grade in Upper Township and coaches basketball at Holy Spirit High School. My husband and I are both retired from the Atlantic County Special Services School District. I loved my job there, but I love my new job even more - babysitting my grandchildren 2 days a week. What a blessing! Chuck and I are really enjoying our retirement. He is playing a lot of golf and we are beginning to do some traveling. We realized when I lost my sister, Kathy to cancer in August 2011, that nothing is forever so we are trying to make the most of everyday.
