Carol's Story
Life
Hi everyone,
after graduating from Erasmus, I went right into college.I graduated from college with a business degree. I got married somewhere along the way,but since then I have become single again. I gained weight( a lot), but I lost it. I have one child a daughter, Ashley who just turned 18 in February 2007. I have a cat named Patches and a dog named Harry(Not Harry Potter).
Well this is not my entire life,since high school. I figured I keep it short and sweet. If you want to know more, you will have to email me.

College
College was fun. The other students made fun of my New York accent, since I went to school in North Carolina. The food at the school was okay, it was alot better than most. The sororities were intense, I had deceided to join one that two of my aunts belong to but, at the last minute changed my mind.
Some of the teachers made the classes interesting, and some were very boring,because all they did was talk to you for 2 hours. The sports were really good. There was this one guy on our te...Expand for more
nnis team, who was really, really good. Everytime he have match, it was sooooo funny, he would have the opponent running up and down the court and he barely moved to hit the ball.
Workplace
After College, I went to work for the New York City Parks as a Peace Officer. I did my job on horseback. I enforced all park rules and regulations, traffic laws, environmntal laws. I had the same powers as a city cop. I stayed on this job from 1982 to 1987. I stayed home for a while (10 months to be exact) and applied to the National Park Service, who were hiring law enforcement officers. I was offered a job a month later and I have been with the Park service ever since.
I now live inside Ft. Wadsworth in an historical house that was built in 1864. This is a perk for working with the park service. I can get housing if it is availible and if you are a permanent employee. I am no longer doing law enforcement, but giving enviornmental education programs to school groups. I am also certified in wildland fire suppression, safety officer, and EEO couselor.
