Carol's Story
After graduation, I received a BA in English and journalism and began writing for a newspaper. I went on and earned an MA in curriculum and instruction and began teaching English as a Second Language to adults. I decided to take up a career in management, and after completing an MPA, moved to Washington as a Presidential Management Fellow. ing education and taught management courses, consulted, conducted research, and published at the University of Connecticut. I also taught at the University of Louisiana-Lafayette and North Dakota State University. I recently retired, teach part time, and do non-fiction writing and oil painting. My love of art carried over to a website, Art for the Spirit, where I have realized the importance of finding meaning and beauty in life.
