Life
Gosh where do I begin? I have 5 beautiful children and 8 precious grandchildren, set of twins in there (but don't spread it around that I am a grandma ok, let's keep this on the DL). I am divorced, but now engaged to the man I have nicknamed my "Big Ox" and I am his "little Nag". If you are familiar with the movie "Grumpy Old Men" you would understand the names. Anyways......I currently live in Ottawa, Illinois. Now I must say that the ONLY reason I am living here is because Tim (you know, the Big Ox) won't move right now since he works for his family business and has some stupid loyalty to it. Obviously you can tell I am not a big fan of the town, and I would rather live back home in Romeoville (Me and my ex purchased two homes in Romeoville, first living on Glen and then on Abbeywood) or back at my previous town of Fox River Grove, where I lived when m...Expand for more
e and Tim met. But needless to say, I am sticking around here for awhile in hopes my sweetie (aka Ox), will see the light and move to where the Super Walmart is not the epic center of a city. I work as a technical sales rep for a serial and data communications company, you know the stuff...Ethernet, Data Aquistion, Wireless transmissions, ModBus protocol, etc. This was not my original career path but hey, I have a kick butt office with a view. Besides my children, my other biggest accomplishments would include being a published poet and having the uncanny ability of knowing when my children are lieing to me (their ears wiggle, or at least that is what I had them believing when they were little).
Maybe I will add more later, but right now I have to be on my way.....there is a huge fluorescent hot dog festival here in Ottawa that I can't be late for...ta ta.
