Carol's Story
To sum it up as quickly as I can. Graduated, got scholarship for journalism, mom beat hell out of me and said i'd never amount to anything-so I said f her and began a long and adventerous binge of partying-it was fun but at 21 i ended up with my beautiful son-who saved my life. worked in Silicon valley for a while but then got tired of being laid off so i went to school to be a legal assistant. after a year in school i was off and doing quite well in the legal field that lasted for 20 years. and yes, i still loved a good party and a few hours on the dance floor. anyway, at 30 met my daughter's father-ummm lets just say he was a real evil...Expand for more
and angry type. he upset me/us for 10 years and i finally booted his ass out of our lives after 10 years. I also bought my own house in about 1994. I spent three years being happily single until I met my husband. We've been married for 6 years now. My son is doing well in his life. My daughter is 15 going on 35. I've traveled a lot since retiring about 4 years ago. It was a hard climb up from my school years-but I made it and now my life is easier and I have time for the things I really love. Even though I've always really loved what ever I was doing-being a Mom, successful at work, etc. It's been a ride though-Lemmetellya.
