Carol's Story
I was kind of a quiet one during the high school years, still am I guess, so most probably won't remember me. Since my pre-high days were at a Catholic school (St. Bernadette's) , I didn't know anyone at WCHS / Creston before 9th grade. I hung out more with friends from Southport High. My favorite subject was language (French..ooooh la la), was good at math, and very much liked history. I remember playing cards in home room, and had such a crush on this guy who sat in front of me in typing class (I think he took the course to be around the girls -- guess I fell for that one !!)
After school, I went to work at a law firm in downtown Indy, married, started a family and moved to Ohio. That's where I have lived for the past 31 years. I still have family in ...Expand for more
Indy, so visit "back home" several times a year. I'm currently single (widow after 24 years of marriage), have two super daughters and am Grandma now to two great little grandsons who are the joy of my life. Aside from spending time with family, I enjoy travelling, nature walks, my job, music, movies, online poker, dining out, and trying out a new recipe every once in awhile (although cooking has never been a strong point).
I hope to be in another long-term relationship someday as I think it's very important to have someone to grow old with, and I still have time for that one !!
I stay involved in my church and thank God for all the blessings of life. I'm not an overly religious person but have found that through life's journey, He is the one to count on.
