And Like a due drop, gently sweet and soft (at least that's what they put under my name in my high school yearbook 25 RANDOM FACTS ABOUT ME: 1) I do believe in prayer, however, I believe some prayers are better off unanswered. 2) I was extremely shy and introverted as a child. 3) My Mother signed me up for tap and ballet dance classes when I was 4, but I cried and wouldn’t stay. 4) My Grandfather lived with us when I was a little girl. 5) On my First Communion picture, my mother had the photo studio paint in the front tooth I was missing. 6) I took swimming lessons at a nearby school when I was around 8 and again when I was around 11, but I really don’t know how to swim. ...Expand for more
7) My favorite vacation as a child was when my parents took me to Washington, DC the summer between 5th and 6th grades. 8) The principal of my grade school tutored me in math at her home on Saturday mornings when I was in 6th grade. 9) My very first boyfriend was named Gordy, we were in 7th grade and we never kissed but we did go steady for a couple of weeks. 10) I took art classes at the Art Gallery when I was around 10 because I thought I wanted to be an art teacher. 11) I took ballroom dance lessons when I was in 7th grade with a lot of other kids from my 7th grade class at school 80. 12) I worked as a Mother’s Helper/babysitter for Doris Jones, the Weather Lady on TV when I was in high school. I really liked her son’s name – Scott…….Her other son became a well-known local doctor – David Sherris. 13) My Father wanted me to go to college to be a teacher. My Grandfather wanted me to be a nurse and take care of him when he got old. My Mother thought I should be a Mommy. 14) My Father offered to buy me a brand new red convertible if I went to and graduated from college, but instead I got married and 2-1/2 years later I became a Mommy. 15) I was a flower girl twice, a bridesmaid four times, and a bride twice. 16) I was 23 when my son was born after roughly 24 hours of labor. I was a terrible patient, I am sure the whole hospital heard me. 17) I was 25 when my daughter was born after only 5 hours of labor. I was a very good patient. 18) I love giraffes 19) I started working for an insurance company on Summer and Delaware two days after I graduated from high school when I was 17, but only for about 6 months. 20) I then worked at the University of Buffalo for the State until I got married and had children. 21) I worked at Robert Hall, a clothing store on Main and Humboldt, part time evenings after working at UB during the day in order to earn extra money to get married and buy a house. 22) I never thought I would be divorced, but I now know that divorce made me a much stronger person. 23) I regret that I was not with my Dad when he died. 24) I was with my Mom when she died and I am so glad I was. 25) I do not like people who lie and pretend to be something they are not.".
