Carole's Story
See you on Facebook...........I was born in NJ, grew up in Lake Parsippany, went to Parsippany grade schools and BoontonHigh.School. When I wasn't talking, drawing portraits of my classmates was one
of my many hobbies. Another hobby was Archery and I traveled throughout the Northeast
as a youth with the Lake Parsippany Bowmen. 1958 Bob Schicke & I married and were
blessed with 3 children, daughter Kim 1959 (now retired from AT&T in Atlanta, GA),
son Bob 1961 (an engineer at Automatic Switch, Florham Park, NJ), son Jeff 1963
(working at University of North TX), 3 grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren (family photos).
I attended County College of Morris, Worked at AT&T as Executive Secretary,
traveled to 27 countries, went on two Mission trips: Haiti and also Winnebago, NB,
a Native American Reservation..
In 1987 married Bob Scoble, moved...Expand for more
to Bushkill, PA, spearheaded Bushkill Historical Society,
lived there 14 years, then moved to Sun City Center, FL in 2001. I lost my husband Bob Scoble
to Melanoma Cancer in 2005.
My interests include my Faith, Art (I have included photos of my watercolors) , History, Travel, Photography, Stained Glass, Reading and Sports. I do watercolors and my paintings hang in many private and public collections throughout the U.S. and abroad.
I am now a Great Grandma !! Who would have thought that we'd live this long.......How wonderful
and how blessed we are!
