Carole's Story
HI,
I attended Santiago from 1964-68 I was kind of quiet and a little shy. My grades were average (on a good day). I worked after school so I didn't get to participate in a lot of after school activities. After graduating I worked fulltime and moved out on my own. I dropped in and out of college for awhile. At 22 I married Gary. We have 3 kids and 4 grandkids. With 3 kids in tow, I decided to return to school. I went to Cypress College, then transferred to Chapman University. vel (more than Gary). I walk for exercise (but not often enough.!) My hobbies (when I have time) are:short hikes easy to mod. trails; kayaking ( which I recently began, and really like); reading; I also enjoy going out to dinner and watching a good movie now and then. I like dogs but don't own one. (we have 5 granddogs) Most importantly, I have a strong faith in God and we are truley blessed with our family. Life has had some major ups and downs. (No fairytales here!) My beleif is that whatever doesnt kill ya, makes ya stronger! (in some way or another)
