Carole's Story
Sadly I must inform you that Bill Mottel died on May 14, 2011. This is his widow, Carole, writing. He had joined this site in 2003. I was not very computer wise and not much has changed but after letting the program lapse for a number of years I decided to renew it.
We had moved from Hilton Head Island and returned to North Augusta, SC to build a new home where better medical facilities are available. More importantly it is where three of our five sons and families live. Our eldest son is in West Ches...Expand for more
ter, Ohio and youngest son lives in Delaware. We had lived there until Bill retired from E.I. DuPont head quarters then moved to Hilton Head. We have two daughters also--one living in Homewood, Ala. and one in Peach Tree City, GA. Our Thanksgiving get together requires us to need our neighborhood Club House to accommodate the usual 50 or so. Not hard to reach that number with 7 married children, 20 grandchildren and 12 great-grand-children as of now. As I was an only child this has been an amazing life.
