School I think the building was a monument.Its hard to believe that such a mighty school no longer stands. Who can forget the staircases, the marble, and the dark woodwork, and the long hallways? The architecture of gray cement and the tall doorways, and now is a parking lot and medical office complex of CAMC. I have good memories of students and teachers I knew. College I attended Morris Harvey College from 1968 till 1972. It has a new look a new name. The classrooms are high tech.The new tower from across the Kanawha River is awesome; yet the cost to go back is (a saying from the 60's or 70's) out of sight. Workplace I graduated from Morris Harvey College in 1972, and moved to Winston-Salem NC. My husband Mike attended law school at Wake Forest University and we moved back to Charleston in 1975. His law practice was in the Morrison Bldg on Quarrier St. I first started with Southern Bell in 1973, then transfered to C&P telephone in Charleston in 1975.
