Like everyone, many changes have happened over the years since graduation: In 1974, we moved to Dubuque IA and I've lived here since. In 1975, welcomed a second daughter, Jodi. In 1979, her older sister Kami who was born in Ottumwa, was killed in a tragic accident that has changed me forever. As a stay at home mom volunteering up to 40 hours a week without pay and running a small in-home catering business, decided to earn some real money. Started at the Dubuque Area Chamber of Commerce in Jan. 1989. Divorced in 1996 after 29 yrs., I was very thankful for the career chosen. Dubuque is a fabulous place to raise children (just last week selected as one of the 100 best places to raise a family for the second year in a row) and I dearly love living here so leaving wasn't an option. In 2001, 2 weeks before 9/11, I remarried to a man I met on the internet (call me crazy!). We live in the country about 6 miles from downtown, surrounded by 100's of trees and wildlife and love it.
