Carole's Story
I'm basically the same person I've always been. Very lucky, married John McCoy 48 years ago. Made a great choice . Air Force wife to a 135 navigator, and have done some traveling throughout the USA. All exciting nad quite the experiences. 2 grown children daughter, and 2 grand-daughters 16 and 13. Grown Son--enjoying the single life. Lived in Merced, Calif. since 1972 so really call this home. Very involved in my community. 33 Years a Realtor/Broker, own my business, also teach some classed, I'm a mediator for the profession, Chairman of the professional standards committee for over 30 years, CAR sellected committee member, and city planning commissioner. Love being busy, and enjoy people. Still fun loving and loving fun. John and I have taken 27 cruises all over the world. This is my passion and get-away. No phones, no computers---life on the open sea. That is the thing I miss most- being 5 min. away from the ocean and beaches. Still stay in contact with Sheila and Andrea. 2016 Have lived in Merced Calif. since 1972. Love the climate don't miss driving in snow, but our state has some of every state in it. We have Yosemite National Park which reminds you of the white mountains in winter, we have desert which reminds you of the southwest, the ocean isn't the atlantic but the pacific is beautiful and 2 hrs away. Lake Tahoe and Las Vegas are within driving distance, and Disneyland is a few hr drive. San Francisco is less then 2 hr away. John and I have done a great deal of traveling and I still own my Real Estate Brokerage. Just finished an 8 yr stay on the city planning commission which was very rewarding helping our city grow and watch the newest University in the Calif. system become a reality. 2 beautiful grand daughters 19 and 22. The oldest just got out of the Marines and served in Afganistan now works as a can in our childrens hospital.
