Carole's Story
It is hard to know where to start.
I got married right out of high school and did not really pursue a career until later. I am still married to Rich after 40 years and have a 35 year- old son, Bryan. He lives in Chicago with his significant other, Jackie. He is in IT field like his father was. We are fortunate that we see a lot of him. Both my parents are still with us and live in Grayslake, a long way from Lansing.
Fortunately, I decided I needed to pursue an education; and in 1979, I graduated from Northwestern University with a BS in physical therapy. This was totally out of character as I went through high school avoiding science and math. I h...Expand for more
ave worked in the field ever since then. In June, 2007, I completed my doctorate degree in physical therapy; and at this "ripe old age", opened a private practice clinic named Healing Tree Physical Therapy and Wellness in Wilmette, Il.
There have been a lot of ups and downs in life including my husband's massive heart attack which left him disabled.
We enjoy, when we can,
traveling,walking, eating out,seeing Bryan and Jackie, and
spending time with our four dogs.
We moved to Wilmette 21 years ago, and I did not hear about the recent reunions. I hope to make the 45th. It has been interesting to see old familiar names on this site and on facebook.
