d David was to go on the floor of Wall Street. Jason is in the finance business so this was truly and bucket list gift. Jason flew up with David and me. We saw "Jersey Boys" the first night. Lacy and her family arrived very late that night. We all did some sightseeing in the a.m. and then Charlie, Lacy, David, and Jason went to Wall Street and I took the kids on a bus tour and back to the hotel. The next day we did more sightseeing, Lacy and Charlie met with Joe Morton who plays Olivia Pope's father on "Scandal" while we watched the final World Cup match. Then we all got to meet Joe Morton. That night Lacy & Charlie went to a movie premier and David and I took the kids to see "Wicked", Jason flew home evening. In the fall, Lacy and I flew to L.A. to have lunch with Darby Stanchfield and Jeff Perry who are on "Scandal". My last trip was back to NYC with Lacy and her family. We went to Carol's Bakery in Hoboken (a birthday gift to Autumn) and then we walked all over the city. One night Lacy & Charlie went to "The River" and met Hugh Jackman (Charlie's Christmas gift from the family) and I took the kids to Radio City Music Hall. All of this and more has been fun and exciting. Charlie buys these event on charitybuzz.com so be sure to check it out. Last summer they had a beach house in Puerto Vallarta that sleeps 10 for only $1,000 a week. All the money goes to charities. I am now 3 years cancer free and feel great. I continue to stay busy with charity work, tennis, art, and best of all, family. I am looking forward to our class reunion in October. Best Wishes, Carole June 22, 2013 Things are good her and I stay very busy. David and I will have our 43rd anniversary this year. Our children are both doing well and are happily married with wonderful children. We have 4 grandchildren ages 8 1/2 - 3 years. I include the "1/2" because it is very important to them. My next check up is in August so as of now I am 1 1/2 years cancer free. Yes, the "1/2" is important to me, too. I feel great and believe the August check up will be good, too. We love to travel, me more than David, and this summer we are going to Isla Mujeres with our daughter and her family to swim with whale sharks. We will all be snorkeling. In the fall we will go on a cruise with Pam (Page) and her husband and 4 other couples. We start in Venice and finish in Rome with stops in Croatia, other stops in Italy, Malta, and Montenegro. We have taken several cruises with Pam & Mike and all of them have been wonderful. Cruising is a great way to travel and see so many places, get a taste of different cultures and if we want to spend more time there we can always fly back and spend a week or two. I stay busy with family and friends, crafts, tennis, golf, reading, and charity work., Life is always good and I feel very blessed.
