Carole's Story
Life
I graduated in 1967.You knew me.I moved to Georgia shortly before Graduation but still finished with Mineola. I married Edwin in 1968. I have three children Bobby 1970, Tammy 1972, and John 1976. I have 2 grandchildren by Tammy, Whitley 1996, and Jared 1999.I also have 2 by Bobby Leila 2001 and Shelby 2006. I became a certified Law Enforcement Officer in 1987. I was a Sgt. with the Richmond County Sheriff's Dept. in Augusta, Ga. the second Largest city in Ga. and the largest Sheriff's Dept.I live in a small town named Lincolnton about 40 miles from Augusta.We have a 2 story Log sided house. Tammy is divorced but both the boys are married.We have cows and goats and chickens and of course dogs. I love living in the country. It is so quiet and peaceful here.
I left Richmond Co. in 2004 and became the Chief Jailer in Lincolnton. I ran the jail until Dec. of 2006 when I had to retire on disability.Well it is now 2010 and my son Bobby has just been divorced by his wife. So I only have the one married child now.
The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is Gloria Napolitano, because we were like sisters in high school.

If I could improve my home, I'd remodel my kitchen and add on a Deck. My dream home would be,-- I'm in it..
If I won $100 million, I'd give some of it to family, church, friends, then spend the rest on my health, vacations and savings.
My current age is 60. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now, would be dead. I was so completely crazy.
My best friend would tell you I'm fun,kind,helpful, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as stern,&standoffish.
I share my home with husband, which I find a workaholic.
In 10 years, I hope to be alive. I'm going to get there by hook or crook.
My oldest friend is Gloria. We met in H.S. and we just clicked. We enjoyed the same things and had a lot in common. We keep in touch today by computer.
My first job was at a neighbors house, where I got paid $5.00 an hr. to babysit 3 kids. What I remember most about it is I was 12 they were 8,6,&3 and they were well behaved..
I will never forget spending time with my father. He was my hero,I was his only daughter and the baby child, but I was not spoiled by any means. I loved my father so much and I miss him so much.
I hope old friends remember me as fun loving and a good friend.
