well, i just finished a wonderful four years (minus the 7 months spent in Tübingen) at Washington University in St Louis (aka WashU). having majored in anthropology and german and having no clue as to what to do with my life, I have procured a job as an au pair for one year in Switzerland (but the parents are German so no worries about Schwyzerdütsch, at lea...Expand for more

I'll be just outside of Bern for the next year, speaking german and english and probably mostly genglish and trying to resist the temptation to do nothing but drink beer and eat chocolate and taking care of two darling children, ages 8 and 11 and mulling over what to do with my life when i get back. move to new york perhaps? or cali? who knows...
