Caroline's Story
Life
When my family moved to Albuquerque in 1953. La Mesa Elementary School was the first school I attended. The sand storms were frequent and reminded me of the remnents of the dust bowl days of a past era. I and my family just moved from the farm lands of Nebraska. What an adjustment. I went From 4 H clubs and raising cattle to girls in the city that only thought about boys. I missed the activities of a rural community for the rest of my life. We moved my senior year to Pueblo,Colorado where I graduated from High School. In fact we moved every year until I graduated from Centennial High. Then on to UNM for a big adjustment dating which I did very little of in High School. Social skills had to be learned the ...Expand for more
hard way. I have worked in Grocery business for 35 years and still working full time.
Now I again live in the country. I even have sand storms.... of that forgotten era. My regards to all the graduates from this unique school in a once steel town. Carri

They are in various careers real estate to major research to RV sales person. HAVE 6 GRAND CHILDREN OF ALL AGES
My Job
I have a craft business and merchandising business for major manufacturers in the grocery business.
