Carolyn Rowland:  

After graduating from EGHS in 1976, I got my AA degree from BCC in May 1977, and left for New Mexico State University in Las Cruces, NM in August 1977. I majored in Computer Science, transferred back a little closer to home in 1978 to Florida Technological University in Orlando (now UCF). I lived in Winter Park and commuted back to Melbourne on the weekends to help out in my parent's orange grove. I got my Bachelor of Science in Computer Sciences (minor in Statistics) in the spring of 1980. I took a job with DBA Systems in Melbourne upon graduation, stayed 3 years and then took a job at Harris Corp. where I stayed for the next 12 years or so. I got married in 1984 (Michael Rowland), had my first daughter, Lindsay, in 1990, "retired" from Harris in 1993 to be a "mom", and had my second daughter, Gabrielle, in 1994. Been home ever since.
