Carolyn's Story
Retired from Nationwide 2002
at the age of 45 (it was a God-thang)
Currently in fulltime ministry
Workplaces
Always worked in insurance: Grange, Western-Southern Life, and Nationwide. Miracle retirement at the age of 45 in 2002 (send me an email and I'll tell you). I'm "soully" employed by God, now, as a fulltime minister and am a member of World Harvest Church, member, minstrel, deacon and LifeGROUP host/instructor.
Trying to write a couple books and am leaning about being self-employed.
I always wanted to be a president of the United States when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a strange idea. Mr Starr inspired me to want to go to college and major in political science and minor in law but...I fell in love, got married and we had a son.
I relax reading the Bible or surfing the Web.
The wildest thing I ever did in school was signed myself out for a dentist appointment and went to Westerville in the family Ford Country Squire Station Wagon to see a boy.
If I'm going to work somewhere, I need to have prayer, prayer, and more prayer to be able to deal with the day-to-day.
My hero is now Jesus Christ. He sought me and He bought me with His redeeming blood. My dad was an inspiration to me and Abraham Lincoln and John F Kennedy.

es, again for ministry in strategic areas in the Greater Columbus area. I finally was told by the Holy Spirit what we were called: "Urban Missionaries!
The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is Vicky Taylor, because we were close, but Vanessa says she's being a grandma, now.
I'm using the Story Wizard, now and it says, "Sports, Reality TV, Pets. Share your obsessions...well, I'm a diehard Cleveland Browns and Buckeye Football fan. I like American Idol and The Biggest Loser.
My biggest surprise in life was becoming a Christian then being an ordained minister!
If I could improve my home, I'd remodel the kitchen and add on a Florida room. My dream home would be a BIG log cabin.
What I've learned from having kids is let 'em go, love them, pray real hard, and forgive them.
Which teacher would I love to see again??? Geesh, maybe Senor Peters, even thought he wasn't one of my teachers, he was one of my sister's teachers and went to school with my dad.
If I won $100 million, I'd give 10% of it to the church for tithe, then spend the rest on free tuition to HPS, The Bridge of Hope outreach and The Women's Clinic of Columbus, Ohio.
My current age is 54 (1957). When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be OLD. I was so completely wrong.
My best friend would tell you I'm funny, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as nuts.
