Carolyn's Story

Life Spent ten yrs with Boyer Agency as Broker and now raise miniature horses exclusively in S.C. Write for several magazines and do articles on color genetics, pedigrees and history...just published a new web site under the millersequine where my articles on line and horses can be viewed...retired in Aiken, S.C. near Augusta where we maintained 22 of our horses and active in the horse driving club there sitting on 45 acres in the center of town. Hope to travel and spend time on a boat, work at doing genealogical research on the Hewitt/Avery lines, and publish a book. The class of '67 seems only a short while ago......Now 2004 beginning to realize life is to be lived to fullest daily. Mom passed away this year as I spent six months with her in Ct. I found tons of history hidden away in the old home and have resigned myself to put all the old 1800's and 1900's pix and paperwork in a book.Just finished geneology class at USC and will be working on lines to the Mayflower to include the Hewitt and Avery lines going back to Priscilla and John A...Expand for more
lden and Brewster, and Tilley all of the Mayflower group. If anyone has any info. please contact me as I gather all together for publication. May 2005 be eventful, peaceful and bring our men home safely. 2007 ALREADY...where does time fly? As we retire we are now down to 12 horses and we are building an art studio and buying a fifth wheel so we can travel and hopefully get back to Ct. to see some of the sites I never took advantage of while I lived there....I attend Studio 222 in Augusta as well as USC now for Life Drawing Classes and thoroughly enjoy getting back to my first love "Art".....do hope all are enjoying their retirement...Till next time....2009..have been studying under David Mascaro, Med College of Ga. Anatomical Drawing Prof....Co-Originator of the First Figurative Art Show in Aiken, S.C. Finally looking at coming home to find a place and keep winter home in Aiken...If anyone knows of anything on the water or in Niantic please get in touch with me at millersequine using that name with yahoo email....May you all be in good health.
