Carolyn's Story
My husband Phil and I have been married 45 years. I'm a retired Registered Dietitian and Phil (a Lutheran Pastor and MFT) is semi retired, still doing some counseling work. Most recently I went back to work as a substitute paraeducator for the Snohomish School District. Our oldest son Peter and his wife Bridgette are parents to our 2 grandchildren (Olivia, age 12 and Max age 8). but also has her own bread baking business. They live 3 miles from us and we see them often. Nathan and his wife Jordan live in Everett, also close by. Nathan works for Boeing and Jordan works in the interior design field. Our youngest, Tim is in Los Angeles. He is West Coast Region Director of Philanthropy for the American Cancer Society . We like to travel internationally and have been on many mission trips - Russia, Ukraine, Poland, Albania and Kenya.
