Carolyn's Story
My Life ...
Born in NY, lived in NJ for 2 years and moved to CA just before 8th grade.
After graduating from Valencia H.S., I received a degree in Marketing from CSU Fullerton.
Been married for 29 years to Tim Byrne (Servite '77). Although we lived around the corner from each other, we didn't meet until Nancy Winterling's (VHS '77) wedding.
We have 3 kids: Jeff (27) graduated from Univ. of Hawaii in Hilo in 2007, Keli (22) graduated from El Dorado in 2008 and now attends Cal Poly Pomona, and Haylee (16) is a Junior at El Dorado and plays basketball.
We have been living in Placentia for 20 years. My parents still live on Hillcrest, and Tim's parents still live on Barry. His brothers and sisters (Tom '70?, Chris '72, Mike '76, Sue '79, Liz '79 and Connie '81) and all of my brothers (Robert '80, John '81, Bill '88 and Jim '93) and their families are doing well ... 65+ of us in all!
After seven years as an Avon Rep and Creative Memories Consultant, I am back at work at a law office again... full time. Quite an adjustment!

on Saturday, October 20, 2012, from 6:00 pm to 1:00 am at Joe's Place, 124 Commonwealth Avenue, Fullerton. Just pay $30 cash at the door which includes two drinks and appetizers until 8:00 pm. Check out all the posts on Facebook. This is our 7th class reunion. I'm so glad that our class continues to get together every five years. This will be a casual, yet FUN party and is open to all VHS classmates interested in attendng. But, space is limited, so please RSVP by October 13th. Just come as you are! It's the people that make the party. Really, all you need to do is show up! Look forward to seeing you, Oh, Thank Heaven for '77!
