I don't understand how we all got to be so old... until I look back at all that's happened.
(How was life possible without computers, cell phones, Garmins and iWatches like Dick Tracy? )It's been a wild life since Grandville! Starting with on-the-road wholesale sales for cosmetic companies to the longest occupation as VP of a brokerage firm for 15 years. Since then I've been a stage mother in Hollywood, had all sorts of jobs in graphics and the arts, and am now retired but still working as a freelance oil portrait artist. have traveled the planet a bit from Africa to Australia and points in between. Married for 37 years, I have 2 adult sons who turned out the way I would have wished (whew!).
I've been divorced for 7 years, and lived in Minnesota; things changed again, and 2 years ago I moved to San Francisco to join my 30-something boys. This is the best place I ever lived ...a 106-year-old San Fran traditional victorian in Haight-Ashbury! Colorful neighborhood. It finally seems like "home"... people here do not think outside the box -- they don't believe there IS a box!!!
