Carolyn's Story
Hello DMHS Alumni of '77!! A year after graduation I left for the West Coast and married a Marine. Out of that marriage I was able to do alot of travelling and started a family. Of course, I ended up raising my two boys as a single mom. Along the way I went to college and and became a paralegal/legal assistant. I actually went to work at a local firm while taking classes and then became paralegal, secretary, office manager and receptionist for one attorney when the firm split their partnership.

l of marriage before the entire crowd. Sorry to say, that one lasted only five years. I never dreamed that I would go through two marriages!!
Recently, I work and spend time with my sons and enjoy life. My oldest son will be 30 April 2010, works two jobs and is still working towards a "graphics" degree. My youngest son is 23 and in the VA Army National Guard. He was deployed to Iraq in January 2010. PLEASE, if any of you are parents of a military son or daughter, please let me know how you cope!
