Aileen's Story
This August brings the one year anniversary of my son's marriage. My daughter-in-law is a jewel and I love her dearly! And my son continues to do well in his job and as a new husband. I am proud of the responsible and hard working young man my son has become! But I'm not very happy that soon they will be moving to New York.
I have a new addition to my family. Last October I helped a friend out by taking one of her cats so that she wouldn't have to take it to an animal shelter. Chloe has fit so well into my life and home. Only one small problem, when I'm home she follows me everywhere and if she can't be in my lap then somewhere near me will do.

am entering my 14th year of teaching and continue to love what I do! With all the budget cuts going on, I am thankful to have a job and appreciative of the fact that I work for a good district.
This summer has been a busy one for me and a sad one as well. With both of my parents having passed away, my family has decided to sell our family home of 49 years. It was a difficult decision but one that we needed to make. It's been a journey of emotions having to go through years of memories, but we're near to finishing up with all the work involved.
Maybe next summer I will be able to take a trip somewhere exotic and exciting or perhaps even New York.
