Carrie's Story
I married Al Jauquet in 1975. We have two daughters, Nicole who is an elementary teacher. She is married with two daughters. Our youngest daughter Danielle, is a Pre-Med Student Counselor. She is married and has one son and two daughters. We enjoy sailing in Door County and wherever the wind takes us. We belong to the Bay Shore Bicyce Club and we ride at least once a week. with the club and other excursions on our own. We love to spend time hiking, traveling, sailing, x-country skiing, snow shoeing, and canoeing. We enjoy getting together with family and friends, and just having a good time. I have had several different jobs in my life but eventually I became a preschool teacher which I loved. I than took over as the Director. I've owned my own Childcare Center and also taught Adult Early Childhood Classes as an adjunct professor at NWTC. I have owned 4 businesses in my life, all related to children. I am currently retired and loving it. Spending time with my five grandchildren and taking classes in art and ukelele. I also write, hoping to publish a children's book some day.
Update: We purchased a vacation home in Florida. We will spend 4-6 months there. Lovely area on Sarasota Bay.
