Carrie's Story
Life
Still in the Tulsa area. Living in Bixby. Was married for 8 years and have been divorced for 10 years. No children.
I always wanted to be a singer when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a dumb idea. As it turns out, they were probably right.
My favorite way to relax is doing yoga and listing to Indie/alternative music. Love love love Jack Johhnson!
If I'm going to work somewhere, I need to have music, coffee, and easy going people to be able to deal with the day-to-day.
My hero is anyone who is doing something to help someone else...
The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is Mike Fifer or Brad Clark because they passed away too young... .
If I could improve my home, I'd remodel my backyard and add on a pool. My dream home would be by the beach!.
I have learned from the kids I work with... no matter how cruel life can be... people are able to persevere.
If I won $100 million, I'd give half of it to charity, then spend the rest on a pool, animals and the kids I work with.
My current age is 42. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be old or dead. I was so completely WRONG!!!!!.
I work with kids who live in group homes, psychiatric hospitals and kids we a...Expand for more
re starting to put out on their own in their own apartments. I really love my job.
My best friend would tell you I'm sentimental, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as practical.
I share my home with 2 dogs, which I find hilarious and comforting.
Only one do over.... hmmmm... probably wouldn't have gotten married when I did. Nice guy... wrong person... wrong time... wrong everything!
In 10 years, I hope to be married. I'm going to get there by dating, dating and dating.
Gosh it was just such a different time then... it seems like I knew half the class from elementary school... 2nd grade when I moved to Grissom. I don't really keep in touch with anyone from high school... run into people every now and then... but that is about it. Seems like we are always able to pick up where we left off.
My first job was at KJM stables, where I got paid $3.00 to shovel horse crap. What I remember most about it is The sweet smell of the barn and the hay and the horses. Working with Tracy Baxter.
Wow... so many... hanging out in the woods with everyone.. "borrowing" from the delivery trucks at Target. Hanging out at Park Plaza Pool. Driving in the bottom of the Arkansas River with our soccar coach.
