Vicky's Story
Life
After I graduated, my father got cancer and I decided not to go to USC as planned. I instead worked and took care of my father. After he died, I got married before the age of 21 and took the name of Merritt. I subsequently got divorced. I later remarried in 1994 and took the name of DiMarino, which is my current name. I had a son 1997 and divorced in 2000. I live by Spanish Hills with my son and I take care of my mom, so she lives with me. I also live with my boyfriend, Bill who I have been with for almost 5 years. I've been in the legal field for eight years even though my heart belongs to the medical field. 9th grade - student council, varsity bowling, band, choir, Celebration, honors classes
10th - Varsity bowling, Celebration, chorus, honors classes
11th - Varsity bowling, honors classes, Celebration, choir. Won writing award.
12th - Celebration, choir, varsity bowling, honors classes. Went to Canada to perform in World Fair. Spoke with Senator Bryan regarding fine arts in our schools.
Workplace
I currently work at Alverson, Talyor, Mortensen, Nelson & Sanders as a legal assistant to two attorneys and a law clerk. I've been at this firm for three years.
