Carroll's Story
Life
I moved to Alaska and didn't graduate from Levelland High School but wanted to be on this list so any old friends could look me up. After graduating from Kenai Central High, I went to college for a while then went to work in the Cook Inlet Oilfields. I am currently an Instrument Technician on the Steelhead Platform working for Unocal. I am married and have a home in Alaska and Arizona. My wife and I have 6 children. I am a born again Christian. n the trade for 28 years... Yikes! It is a challenging occupation and intense at times. Currently I work week on and week off and commute to Arizona on my days off. Commuting is hectic but necessary. I enjoy golf, travel and flying on my days off and of course spending time with my wonderful wife, Grace.
Workplace Update Unocal was purchased by Chevron so I now work for Chevron. I am still currently assigned to the Steelhead platform but have accepted a position with Chevron offshore Nigeria, Africa and hope to be there by the end of 2008.
2013, I am still working in Africa as an Instrument Supervisor
