Carter's Story
Hi, all.
Those of you on facebook already know. However, I decided to post here also.
This is Sandy.
Carter passed away on July 3rd, 2016.
He had fun stories about Wirt. He enjoyed the time he spent as the Drama sponsor at EBHS in Texas. He even enjoyed most of the kids on the bus routes that he's had over the years. So many things he enjoyed about kids, friends, and even being a supervisor that people actually liked working for.
I won't be on Classmates much. I'm missing half of my life with Carter gone.
Our daughter married last week without her dad. We used to joke about Carter daily calling each of us in the family just because he was bored. We are thankful we're the ones on his mind when he called or texted on that last day.
If you're an old classmate and you hear a familiar song that reminds you of Carter; Smile and say hello. He'll hear you. Maybe he even sent the song to you.
Thank you in advance for any messages you send. Remember to kiss your loved ones and tell them daily that you love t...Expand for more
hem. Carter's death was unexpected and he knows I loved him. It's just not the same that I wasn't able to say it one more time and say good-bye. Don't let the moment go by you.
On October 27th, his birthday, raise a glass to him.
Peace.

Life
Married (eloped) in 1972 to Sandy (Keefover) (Portage HS graduate). Got married just before our graduation while the teachers were on strike! I remember giving substitute teachers a Really Hard Time! I tell my kids about it all the time.
I have 3 grown kids & the 2 best granddaughters. One is 7 & her sister is 1 (2008).
We're working hard & enjoying life the best we can!
***Like in the last few years I went to as many Houston Astros games as I could. I also go to Houston Texans games. I like sports as much as I ever did.
Took a fall from a roof & broke a bone or two. But, I'm good! No chance hurting my hard head! ***
Still wondering what everyone else is up to!!?? Post it or write me & let me know!
