Casey's Story

We had a GREAT TIME at our 40th Annual Reunion for the class of 1968! Everyone looked so good and I realized that we are all super dancers! I got to connect with some friends I have not seen in many years. Thanks to our reunion committee who worked so very hard planning our evening! It seems that over 180 eventually came and we raised enough money for our 50th reunion. Even more graduates came to the All Alumni Picnic on Sunday at Del Valle Park. We had a blast. We also raised enough money for next year's all alumni picnic. That picnic will be on the second Sunday in July, 2009. Please come About me...I just retired after working 40 years... full-time! I worked from the week I turned 15 1/2 and during college at LBCC and CSULB. I enlisted in the U.S. Army in August 1972 and serv...Expand for more
ed in Germany for four years. I was a military police investigator and German interpretor. I remained in the Army Reserve and retired as a Captain after a total of 23 years. During that time, in 1979, I was hired by Long Beach Police Department where I retired in 2000. I have been working as a counselor and trainer of the mentally ill for six years. I retired in March, 2006 to remodel my home in Long Beach. I have travelled to 30 countries and hope to see 60 more. My favorite countries are: The U.S.A.!!! Scotland, Austria Egypt, Isreal, and China... Did I say that my favorite country is the U.S.A.?? My experiences at Lakewood High School, LBCC, and CSULB were very special. I got the education and support that helped me be successful in my life. Casey Alan Carver (562) 547-7517
