Cary's Story
Most of you would remember me as Carey Monica (a skinny shy boy who rarely came to school) - the name change is a long story.....
After graduating High School I married my high school girlfiend ...Linda... we were both 18 at the time. We have three wonderful children together - and to date I have never know a woman as wonderful or as loving as Linda .... she deserves a place among the stars.
At the age of 30 I came out and was finally true to myself. I have been with my partner Kris for almost 10 years.
I spent 37 years in Banking, most of that time at The Bank of New York and then the last three years at Chase Bank as a 1st Vice President. Last June I went out on disability.
I lived in Elmont until I was 28, then moved out to Suffolk and then into Queens (about 14 ...Expand for more
years ago) .... Kris (my partner) and I purchased our house upstate in 2002 - we are in East Chatham, NY in Columbia County - 5 minutes from the Berkshires (MA). We now live up here full time until we sell the place and build our new home in Milford Pennsylvania.
I am a grandfather.... both my son's live in PA. My oldest, PJ, has a 12 and 6 year old (girl and boy) and my middle son, Cary, had a beautiful baby girl on December 4th 2009 and a new one on the way....... YIKES - my son PJ works for the Air Force and is in the reserve - he was in the Air Force for 9 years... Cary is an accountant and my precious daughter Amanda works for United Way out in Colorado... miss her very much.
