"Conceived, written and performed by Jolene Patrick as “Mother Goose” and Sherri Bean as her sister “Miss Martha”, this 40 episode award winning community television program has been acclaimed by parents and their young children as a unique approach to pre-reading experiences. Funded by the Oregon Children’s Foundation’s Early Literacy Grant Program, “Mother Goose and Friends” welcomes neighborhood children to their cottage for a lively time packed with nursery rhymes, songs, stories, puppets, cooking, crafts and special guests focused on introducing children to the skills necessary in learning how to read.
