Cassandra's Story
These photos are something my husband and I have gotten into called Arena Racing. My boss owns the cars and I got to drive a couple of times last season, and it was a blast!! The cars are 1/2 scale to a sprint cup car, have a 13 hp Honda generator motor and run on 110 octane. We race on a 1/10 mile track inside Cricket Arena in Charlotte, NC (the old Coliseum on Independence Blvd). The cars turn between 8-9 second laps or about 42-44 mph. so it's kinda like being in a blen...Expand for more
der...lol. I am supose to be driving full time next season which begins the end of October 2008 and runs thru March 2009, there will be a total of 15 races. This will only be the 3rd season here in Charlotte, and it's really catching on with the fans. There were no fulltime female drivers last season here in Charlotte, so I am hoping ho change that. Hope to c u at a race next season!!
This years season was cancelled...maybe next year :-(
