Cassandra's Story
Life is fabulous. I live in a suburb of Seattle, Washington with my husband, Rob, and our two cats. We are empty nesters, with three kids off in different directions but all doing well. And, we are grandparents, a fabulous gig if you can get it! My husband owns a thriving mechanical contracting business (heating, air conditioning, environmental controls) and I am a writer. (See my announcements to read about my novel!) Our favorite trips are getaways with friends and family. In the fall of '08 we went to Italy for 3 glorious weeks with two of our best friends. Then we came back and moved into our newly remodeled dream home overlooking Puget Sound. My life has blossomed into something bigger and brighter than I ever could have imagined. I hope everyone who reads this is in a similarly happy place.
Novel #2 is nearly finished now. Watch for more information!

ose of you who went to Westlawn). I am glad that bullying is being recognized as the horrible, sometimes fatal cancer that it is. I am grateful that I survived and became a stronger person as a result. I hope that those of you who participated have grown kinder and wiser, accepted responsibility for your actions and most importantly, forgiven yourselves.
UPDATE: Life is even more fabulous. We are up to 5 grandbabies and one more due in October. Went on another trip to Europe this year, Italy, France and Monaco. My husband sold his company a few years ago but stayed on as CEO. We now live in a different suburb of Seattle, on a bluff overlooking beautiful Puget Sound. There is a resident pair of eagles nearby and we have witnessed three seasons of their eaglets. Whales literally swim by, at times feeding right in front of our house. I pinch myself every day, not quite believing this is my life. :) I hope everyone who reads this is just as happy.
