Catherine's Story

Life Joyfully married to Duane Day since 1991, mother of two handsome, beautiful, and creative sons, David (35) and Gregory (32) Voltz. They are the kind of people I know I'll receive Thank You notes about for years to come. My oldest is now married and has two sons (Ben 12 and Zach 9) so I get to play Grandma now! It's my favorite role! They love fore me to sing to them at bedtime. They are the light of my life! I have lived and worked in various southbay communities before moving to Fremont, CA. in 1980 and Livermore in 2017. I'm now living in Eugene, OR to be closer to my grandsons. I've worked as an assembler, instructor, inspector and Quality Engineer at Amdahl, GenRad and Sun Microsystems over the years. To do something different I attended Medical Assistant training at Sawyer College in San Jose, CA. but found it was not the career for me. nt, CA an looking for remote opportunities in Eugene !. I have always been spiritually inquisitive. I continue to commit myself to exploration of new ideas, people, my art, my writing and philosophies and support of my husbands music, performance and composing. I have studied and taught at Center for Spiritual Living in Fremont, Livermore Valley and now Eugene, hosting Zoom Discussion Groups and Game Nights, Metaphysical Movie Nights (to learn to think differently) and Craft Days (To get into creative space). I occasionally speak on Sundays and host spiritual workshops. I love to teach! I have recently taught classes on QuantumThink and Thomas Troward's Edinburgh Lectures. It is part of who I am to serve my communities, my circles, and my world, in whatever ways I can. Peace is my focus and along with peace comes harmony - I love to sing and have been performing in choirs and even singing some solo since 2004. Life is fun! Life is Good! I am Blessed and I know it!
