Hi Folks,
As I recall - 68-69 was a pivotal time for society and Chicago - and being there when "The Whole World is Watching" in front of the Hilton Hotel is something I will never forget. We had our own walk-outs, too at the school, it was an actual life experience. New classes were introduced, such as the first ever -- African American History and we had a visitor from the Defender. While this was a business school, I have to say that I learned more about cultural diversity. I appreciated the diversity as it better prepared me for the workforce and I formed some lifelong friends. We were the first graduates of the new school. Now, I hear it's going to be rebuilt? and the mix of males and females is more evenly distributed. I'm in the technical communication field and worked in the IT area since the mid 1970's on the 370 IBM and in the early 1980's with the first Apple Macintosh (if that's not the formal name, please let me know) I'm widowed and still working. I went on to get a graduate degree and believe life is long journey of learning. Those many practices we had to do at Jones for 100% correct spelling have paid off!!

Also, after thirteen years of being a widow, I'm getting married again. Someone once told me, that love has no age! True words!
