Catherine's Story
The summer of my Sophmore/junior year my family moved to Wixom Lake (Beaverton, MI). I missed my friends, Kathy and Sheryl. I then went to Beaverton High School and graduated in my Junior year, then attended Delta College. I moved to Saginaw when I was 17. Lived in an apartment over a business on the corner of Court and N. Michigan in Saginaw, and worked at a loan place on the east side. Then I moved back home for a while. Worked at one of the banks in Midland. Met Rod at the BT in 1978, got married, and had two children (Eric and Kristi).

young. Then when Eric was a Freshman, we had Keiko live with us for a year. She became a family member. She went back home to Maebashi Japan, but then moved to Arkansas and Texas for college. When she got married in Japan, she invited Rod and I. We had a great time, went to Osaka and Kyoto with Keiko and Kazu. Beautiful places. Gorgeous temples. I have gone over to visit them each time she has had a baby. I will be going again this fall, no new baby, just a visit.
I have worked for the Gladwin County Drain Commissionerfor 14 years now. We built a new home in 1999 and live on the Tobacco River. It's nice and quiet here.
