My husband and I live in Knoxville, Tennessee. We have traveled a lot over the years and we are now happy to be in the same place all the time. Not to cold in the winter and not as hot in the summer. I look out over majestic mountains, not corn fields, cow lots and pig pens. (I wonder how proud the cities are to have that pork plant move in). My husband and I were "Green" long before green was cool. We recycled enough to pay for our entire wedding, rings, reception and honeymoon. It's fantastic to see people finally watching what they spend, taking care of their planet and keeping an eye on who gets the money. We knew people would have to slow their spending. However we thought it would be under the watchful eyes of our children or grandchildren. Never thought we would be the ones to experience it again. I remember a time when looking for a job meant reading the obits to find job openings. When someone passed away, any opening they left behind would be filled and never in the want adds.
