Catherine (Cathy) Shevey, Ph.D.:  

Life Hi Friends & Fellow Classmates, It's hard to believe it was 35 years ago I finished high school! After graduating, I began college at UWM. I didn't last long and got a full time job as a secretary, working at First Wisconsin Bank then MATC. I kept going to school part time. I married Carey Meier (1966 Grad)in 1970. In 1976 I finally graduated from UWM in Special Education and became a teacher. I taught for 8 years. I received my Master's Degree in 1980. Then in 1984 I got a job at Alverno College as the principal of the lab school. I began working on my doctorate, divorced Carey, and started a new life. In 1989, I quit my job as a principal in Waukesha to return to graduate school fulltime. I attended both Iowa State University and then UW Madison. When I finished my studies in 1991, I got my first superintendency in Fontana, WI. I moved from Madison to Lake Geneva where I lived for 3 ye...Expand for more
