Catherine's Story

I hope that my friends will remember me as being full of pep and energy and always willing to pitch in where I can help and make a difference. I've decided that there's nothing or no one in my life that can upset my applecart. I am learning to take people as they come, but they in turn have to take me as I come. I'm working with the Salvation Army at their homeless shelter in Allentown. It's a hu...Expand for more
mbling experience. I've been very lucky in my life. The bad choices that I made as a young woman taught me many lessons. By helping at the Shelter, I feel like I'm giving back, but only in a small way. The one person from my past who I would most like to see again is my Mother. We didn't have a very good relationship. I have a million questions for her and I would have liked to say "good-bye".
