Catherine's Story
After high school, I studied health and physical education for two years at North Georgia then transferred to UGA. I have a "Double Dog" degree in health/PE with an emphasis in exercise science. Spending thirteen years as a K-8 PE teacher, I decided to make a change, and returned to school to become a licensed massage therapist. Teaching didn't go away completely as I am currently an adjunct instructor at the Atlanta School of Massage. I also have a massage therapy practice.

e met on a blind date through the Young Adult Ministry program in the Archdiocese. I think we were pretty much on the back side of being young adults, but neverthelesss it worked out. It pays to be patient and picky. It also helps not to have relational expectations while on a blind date. My goal was to make a new friend and I did. We don't have kids. As my hair stylist so eloquently puts it..."Motherhood. That's a young woman's sport."
