Cathie's Story
Hi to all my friends! Times flies. I've been married to Sam Camilleri (former Kenmore Police Chief!)for 35 years. We have 3 kids...Mike: Lt. Policeman in Amherst,married to Kathy Diakacis's daughter Christina and step father to 13 year old Bianca
(remember being 13?), Julie: Social Studies Teacher G.I. Highschool, son Bryan (7 1/2 old hockey "superstar")and Mark: Plant Manager for Unifirst Inc. in Ft.Wayne IN. Sam and I are both retired (I was a tax accountant with KPMG then VP of Finance for the Blind Assn. of WNY). Now we have downsized in housing from 2600 sq ft family home to my late Aunt's 1940 1300 sq ft cape cod (on Coventry Rd)which we are completely gutting and remodelling. so far I have a gorgeous kitc...Expand for more
hen (it's only been a 3 yr project!), which Sam did himself, except for the countertops. We also travel-Florida,Phoenix,Hawaii and this year Alaska. Next big venture Grand Canyon and Nat'l parks in ths southwest. We've also assumed ownership of my Mom's campsite and trailer at Mt. Meadows in North Java. Not much, but it's great to be able to get away to a serene setting whenever we want. I've volunteered for the Cancer Wellness Center, Hospice, the SPCA, and Lou Gehrig Little League's Woman's Auxillary (now my grandson and granddaughter are playing ball there!)Life has been good mand I would love to reconnect with old friends and especially with Theta Gamma Phi sorority sisters. Hope this reaches some of you!
