Phoneless in Vermillion wishes Happy Birthdays tomorrow to my brother, Rob (and his wife Debbie, whose birthday is in a couple of days). Love you guys.
What a lively 5 year old he was when I adopted him.
He had a good life and was always pampered and loved.
But, his heart was failing, he stopped eating and couldn't sleep soundly anymore.
The ultimate weakness of violence is that it is a descending spiral,
begetting the very thing it seeks to destroy.
Instead of diminishing evil, it multiplies it.
Through violence you may murder the liar,
but you cannot murd
Happy Birthday to my son, Steve. I am so proud of the person you are, happy that you are in the world and are an inspiration to others, and sorry of your ongoing struggle with depression. Couldn't love you more, honey.
And, I am STILL doing things like this 24  years later - but with future elementary teachers in physical science.
