Cathy's Story
I'm a Registered Nurse in a local communitity hospital outside Nashville, TN, delivering babies for the past 33 years (not always in TN, moved here in 2001) have raised 3 wonderful people, 2 teachers and 1 now serving in Iraq in the Army. 2 are married, and 1 is engaged, to be married on 10/2/10. Love my family and still have both of my parents, who still live in Redford.
Remeber my Dad? He taught at Pearson, when we went there, and then at the High School, but not until after we graduated. All of my other 6 siblings still live in the greater Detroit area, all in the suburbs. ...Expand for more
That's about it, I guess. Oh yeah, I've been married to the same wonderful guy for the past 32 years.
I always wanted to be a nurse when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a great idea. As it turns out, they were abso;utely right.
If I could see a one teacher again, it would be Mrs, Keblys. She was my Chemistry teacher vor both basic and advanced Chem. She never gave up on me and , finally, one day I got it. Really got it. She even stopped her lecturing and saw, and congratulated me. Wow what a thrill that was, to finally get all that molar weight, math stuff.
